Bajaj Bikes priced between 1 to 2 lakhs in India

Not too long ago, we discussed all the bikes Bajaj sells in the Indian market that are priced under the Rs. 1 lakh mark. These are, of course, the most common motorcycles you’ll spot on the road in the Indian market, therefore, making them a valuable piece of machinery for the brand.

However, if the bikes under Rs 1 lakh in price attract the most consumers, it’s the bikes above this price tag that showcases how a brand can develop a certain value-for-money product that should deliver big on thrill – otherwise what’s the point of paying so much? – and should also bring something special to the table, be it aggressive styling, an extensive feature list, and, of course, a punchy motor.

So, bike-makers are now keen on delivering in this price range along with their no-frills commuters below the Rs. 1 lakh mark. After all, the consumers are now willing to pay some extra bucks for better performance as we’ve witnessed in recent years. So, for today, we’ve combined all the Bajaj bikes in India priced between the Rs. 1 to 2 lakhs (ex-showroom) mark in the list below. Take a look.

Bajaj Avenger Street 160
The Avenger Street 160 is just priced a smidge above the Rs. 1 lakh mark in the BS-VI era. However, if you look two years back, it was very keenly priced but the update has made it more expensive and, of course, less emitting. It is still very much a cruising motorcycle with all the basics in check and Bajaj’s peace of mind reliability. As the name gives away, the bike comes powered by a 160cc single-cylinder engine with fuel injection, capable of making 14.79bhp and 13.7Nm of torque paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Bajaj Pulsar NS160
The Pulsar NS160 is Bajaj’s take on the hot packed 160cc sporty commuter segment. It is, minds you, one of the oldest bikes in the segment, but it does come around as a heavily reliable proposition amongst the other new-age motorcycles. However, courtesy of that is the Pulsar NS160 is shy of equipment other motorcycles now bring to the table like a digital instrument cluster and LED lighting. It is powered by a 160cc motor, producing 17.03bhp and 14.6Nm of torque, which is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

Bajaj Pulsar 180F and 220F
The Bajaj Pulsar 180F and 220F offer a nice value-for-money preposition, but these are certainly very old bikes when it comes to outright design language. Where the 180F gets neon design highlights, the 220F gets a bolder design with contemporary elements. Powering the 180F, as the name suggests, is a 178cc motor, good for 16.6bhp and 14.52Nm of torque. The 220cc motor of the 220F, on the other hand, churns out 20.11bhp and 18.55Nm of torque.

Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and RS200
The NS200 takes forward the styling and design inspiration from the smaller NS160, meaning it’s a sporty naked motorcycle. The RS200, on the other hand, is a fully-faired motorcycle, which is made in a way to deliver a relatively comfortable riding experience as opposed to other outright sporty motorcycles. Both the NS200 and RS200 are powered by a 199cc single-cylinder engine, capable of producing 24.1bhp and 18.7Nm of torque. It is further paired to a 6-speed transmission.

Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220
The Cruise 220 is a bit cushier cruiser as opposed to the Street 160. To distinguish itself from its smaller sibling, it gets extra equipment and a few handy features making it a better value-for-money product. It is, however, powered by a bigger 220cc single-cylinder engine, making 18.76bhp and 17.55Nm of torque.

Bajaj Dominar 250 and Dominar 400
Both the effortless cruisers offer the same amount of comfort with some differences in hardware and the main separating point being the powertrain, where the Dominar 250 comes powered by a 250cc engine (26.6bhp and 23.5Nm) and the Dominar 400 (39.4bhp and 35Nm), as you may have guessed it by now, comes packed with a 400cc motor.
